OK Aluksne 27th organized HORIZONTS season are closed. Increasingly felt the proximity of autumn and soon the pressure of divergent policy Latvian woods orienteering nippy steps. This year, these popular sports competitions to start something one time had become almost 300 orienteers (292). This summer Zeltini side were organized orienteering festival, called CUP of Maliena. Competitions attended by about 400 orienteers. This year the competition was the new Estonian - Latvian League stage. Closing session can say thank you to the club's best athletes for their launches Latvian Latvian championships and cup competitions, but especially EDGARS BERTUKS start of the World Championship, and have fun together and on their success! This autumn, a further joint meeting of the season and the final winner Welcome Opening the evening, but before 2012 launches to the time of pleasant memories and dreams of family and friends and, of course, various forms of athletic training for the conservation and polishing! XXX Cup of Maliena in Alūksne district

Welcome to XXX "MALIENA CUP" 2-day orienteering competition, which is also Stage 9 competition of the newly founded EST-LAT Orienteering League, this year taking place in Alūksne amalgamated municipality, Zeltiņi vicinity. We are looking forward to meeting every orienteering sports fan and lover – a beginner as well as a more experienced and stronger athlete and veteran will have the opportunity to try out distances of various complexity and length in 35 age groups. During these years numerous sports legends have competed and won the Maliena Cup - Kārlis Magons, Dainis Šleiners, Aigars Leiboms, Sixtens Silds, Jānis Ozoliņš, Alīda Ābola, Iveta Brūvere, Ieva Veģere, Zanda Abzalone etc. We hope to see them competing or visiting us also this time. Organizers are working hard to ensure exciting competition, also vast free time activities will be available during the Alūksne Town festival.

Till "Horizonts-2011" summer holidays only 2 etaps! Use the opportunity to come and participate in 14.06. and last summer's round of 21.06. Both race are interesting places in that area and one of the area was "Maliena Cup-2010".

» We have already enjoyed the nice winter pleasures, benefits and sick, winter, spring is gradually replaced, therefore, time to think about current sports orienteering world. You can disagree, but have yet to be enjoyable for active recreation and sports activities in nature.
